1868 – 24/25 luglio. Julius Marshall Elliott fu sul Cervino con Joseph Marie Lochmatter e Peter Knubel. Si trattò della prima cordata che scalò la cresta dell’Hornli, tre anni dopo la tragedia.

 

1914 - Julius Marshall Elliott ha scritto: The second ascent of the Matterhorn by the East Face, pubblicato sull’Alpine Journal.
